What a week for breakdowns.
After a few challenges with establishing the right shaft size by our customer, the pressure was on BPT to create a solution that would fix the problem, because another day of down time would be very costly.
Due to quick thinking by Daniel and with the great back up service from BPT’s fantastic machine shop, we were able to get a tapered split bush with keyway machined and supplied.
The split bush reduces the shaft size from 60mm bush back to the require 55mm.
Split tapered bush was supplied complete with a new key too.
All achieved within 1hr and 30mins from when the problem was discovered.
